Treatment of psoriasis

Psoriasis  is higly irritating condition of skin characterised by erythematous rash over the skin.

TREATMENT.
Anti inflammatory agents.

1. Topical corticosteroids ointments like mometasone furate if disease is mild.
2. Systemic Steroids like methyl prednisolone,if disease is bit severe.

RADIATION THERAPY :  ultraviolet radiations (UVB type) are found to be effective.

• Immunosuppressive agents like cyclosporine,methotrexate are usually a last line of treatment
